How Long Should I Honeymoon for?

Good question, and that totally depends on both your budget and as well as the amount of free time that you both can comfortably take off. A good ballpoint figure is a 10-day honeymoon, as this will really give you time to unwind and relax after the wedding madness. If you can have a 2-week getaway then great, as that will give you a few extra days to really soak up Island life. You can choose to split a two week vacation between two different Maldives resorts – this is quite a popular choice with honeymooners, as it allows you to experience different cuisine, hospitality and locations.

If you feel like you may get cabin fever (or should we say water villa fever) with a long island stay, then why not choose to split your honeymoon into a two location vacation. Some other popular hotspots to combine with a Maldives honeymoon include the Arabian wonderland that is Dubai, Singapore, or even somewhere romantic in Europe such as London, Paris or Venice.

How to Choose the Best Maldives Honeymoon Package

We know that it can be overwhelming when it comes to whittling things down and making your choice. In order to ensure that you pick the best honeymoon package for your needs, always read over exactly what is included in each offering. Try and go to a trusted third party review sites and read over the views there rather than directly on the website, as they can be more honest and authentic.

If you have any friends or family that have visited the Maldives before, then it is also a wise idea to ask them for their recommendations. Trusted reviews from someone that you know and love holds much more weight than from a stranger on the internet.
